Jake, Dianne’s son, named it The Dirty Seahorse and here’s why; Women who thrive in skilled trades who are not afraid to get dirty, dig in and not afraid to tear down barriers and make change. We were inspired by seahorse because of its uniqueness, where traditional roles are reversed. In the seahorse world, the males carry the babies and nurture the young, a reminder of breaking stereotypes and redefining roles leading to strength and resilience.
At the Dirty Seahorse were all about challenging the norms, empowering and supporting women to succeed. Dianne has made it a pillar of the company that it must support women in trades.

Does The Dirty Seahorse offer custom sizing?
Yes, we’re proud to offer custom inseam sizing up to 33 inches to ensure your workwear fits just right. To request a custom inseam, simply add the "Custom Inseam Add-On" to your cart before checking out. Then, type your desired inseam length in the "Order Special Instructions" section during checkout. Please note that custom inseam orders are final sale and will require an additional week to ship.

What if my order doesn’t fit?
We understand the importance of having workwear that fits perfectly, which is why we offer a 30-day return policy. If your item doesn’t fit, you can return it as long as it’s unwashed, unworn (except for trying it on), and free of damage outside of manufacturing or shipping defects.
