Who is Hailey Logozny?

Hailey Logozny — a dedicated electrical apprentice who is making waves in her industry. Driven by a lifelong fascination with lightning and a passion for hands-on work, Hailey shares insights into overcoming physical and social barriers, building a community of supportive women in the trades, and the importance of resilience. 🛠️ From a Fascination with Lightning to the Electrical Trade

For Hailey, the decision to join the trades was all about staying in motion and following a lifelong spark.

"I decided to join the trades because I have always enjoyed moving around and working with my hands more than being at a desk," Hailey shares. "I have also always had a fascination with lightning, so becoming an electrician was a natural choice."

Now, as an electrical apprentice, she thrives on the daily challenge. For her, the journey is all about growth: "I enjoy being an electrical apprentice; overcoming obstacles and learning is an extremely rewarding experience."

💪 Overcoming Barriers & Finding Community

Stepping into a male-dominated industry comes with its own set of challenges, both physical and mental. Hailey opens up about the hurdles she faced early on and how she overcame them:

The Physical Challenge: "Learning to use momentum to compensate for strength."
The Mental Challenge: "Feeling isolated."

How did she push through? By building a community. "By networking and talking to other women in the trade, I have found many friends and people who have gone through similar experiences."

Her advice to any woman thinking about taking the leap into the trades is clear and powerful:

"Do it. It is a career that rewards hard work and perseverance. While it can be challenging, working diligently and persevering is truly worth what you get out of it."

🥽 The Workwear Struggle (And the Perfect Fit!)

Every tradeswoman knows the struggle of finding gear that actually works. Before discovering us, Hailey faced extreme difficulties finding personal protective equipment (PPE) and clothing that fit her size.

"Most large workwear companies do not sell PPE or clothing in my size. When I am able to find them in my size, they do not fit properly and have ripped on site," she explains.

That all changed when she tried her first pair of The Dirty Seahorse pants: "The first pair of pants that I felt actually fit and were comfortable were from The Dirty Seahorse."
